The Belize Bank Limited is one of the many business houses to donate to the Eder Martin Alamilla Summer Art Camp 2007. The Camp is being held at the Bliss Center for the Performing Arts from July 23rd to August 7th, 2007 and its goal is to promote children’s appreciation for the arts while building self esteem and image. The programmes namesake was a promising young artist who died tragically in 2005, and was for a number of years the leading facilitator for a children’s summer camp held at the House of Culture. Following his death, his family took on the responsibility of running the Camp in his memory.

This years Summer Art Camp is accommodating approximately 200 children aged 5-15 years, and has approximately 21 youth volunteers. The Belize Bank Limited is proud to contribute to the development of the arts and youth of Belize, and helping to keep programmes such as the Eder Martin Alamilla Summer Art Camp alive.
