BCB HOLDINGS AND THE BELIZE BANK ARE PLEASED TO MAKE THE FOLLOWING APPOINTMENTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Mohan Mahase, ACCA, CA - Chief Audit Officer

Reporting to the Chairman of Audit Committee and to the Group CEO, Mr. Mahase will be responsible for providing objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve the organization’s operations. Additionally, he will assist in implementing the strategic goals and objectives of the Group by providing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes

Mr. Mahase is a chartered accountant with over ten (10) years experience and exposure in the Financial Services Industry, having held several senior management positions at international and regional financial institutions. These include senior managerial positions at RBTT Merchant Bank Limited, Citigroup, RBTT Bank Limited and Inter-commercial Bank Limited. His last position was Vice President Financial Engineering at RBTT Merchant Bank where he was responsible for the structuring and marketing of interest rate and credit risk derivative products to corporate and financial institutions.

Cross-Listing On The Trinidad And Tobago Stock Exchange

At 9:30 a.m. on October 28, 2009, BCBHL shares began trading on the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange. This listing was the culmination of a process which started one year ago and is in keeping with BCBHL mandate and aspirations to build a Pan-Caribbean diversified financial services group over the medium term.

By listing on the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange, BCBHL shares will now be more readily accessible to the investing public in Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Jamaica and the Eastern Caribbean and now puts BCBHL on the same footing with the major regional financial conglomerates including the largest Caribbean banks which are already listed on the Trinidad Stock Exchange.

Commenting on the listing, BCBHL CEO and Chairman of Belize Bank, Lyndon Guiseppi said, “BCB Holdings is one of the largest companies in the Caribbean and is ranked among the top 10 banking groups in the region. We thought, what better way of promoting our Group than by having it listed on a regional stock exchange which is close to and can better understand our operations”.

Attending the Listing ceremony at Nicholas Towers in Port-of Spain, Trinidad were BCBHL Directors, Philip Osborne, Philip Johnson and Peter Gaze.

BCBHL shares opened at TTD12.38 and by the close of the week was trading at TTD13.15.
