On April 19 th , 2008 the Lifeline Foundation Belize held its 3 rd Annual Black and White Charity Gala at the House of Culture in Belize City, and the Belize Bank was a Platinum Sponsor of the event.

The Lifeline Foundation is a humanitarian charity trust geared towards raising money to benefit children at schools and orphanages who are in dire need of assistance through feeding programs, medical care, and educational materials. The Foundation is committed to carrying out positive and impacting projects which help to improve the quality of life for Belizean children.

This years Charity Gala was held in aid of Friends of Pediatrics – a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) founded in 1998 to assist underprivileged Belizean children with financial assistance to obtain tertiary health care; the Cornerstone Foundation – a non-profit community development organization; and Calvary Temple School .

The Belize Bank pledges to continue making meaningful differences in the communities which we serve by contributing to organizations such as the Lifeline Foundation.
