Traveler’s Cheques
Buy them here – cash them virtually anywhere. They’re the most familiar form of global money, and the Belize Bank offers American Express branded travelers cheques in US Dollars. Anyone who’s traveling can buy travelers cheques (subject to local Foreign Exchange Control Regulations and availability of foreign currency).
Traveler’s cheques are safer than carrying cash, and if they are stolen, you can have them replaced at no cost to you – wherever you are. Now that’s peace of mind!

Bank Drafts
Bank drafts are a safe and economical way to send money abroad either as a gift for that special someone or to purchase something you want.

Still the big favourite! Belize Bank offers a range of popular currencies available, and all you need to do is bring in your passport and plane ticket (or other valid travel document). (Purchases of foreign currency in cash are subject to local Foreign Exchange Control Regulations.)
