How to Apply:
1. The first step in establishing an International Account would be to form an IBC (International Business Company).
2. Bank references are required for all signatories, directors and beneficial owners of the company.
3. You will need a notarized copy of passport
4. Original copy of utility bill showing residential residence.
5. Complete details of nature of business.

Available Accounts: Once the IBC has been incorporated, which only takes 24 hours, and the bank account application form together with supporting documentation have been received, the following accounts can be opened:
Foreign Currency Chequing Accounts
This type of account is available in US dollars, Canadian Dollars, Pounds and Euros and is designed around you with immediate access to your funds either by wire transfer or cashier's cheque by means of our various correspondent banks around the world (Bank of America - New York & London, Royal Bank of Canada - Toronto & Lloyd Bank - London). Cheque books can be made available upon request. A regular monthly statement is provided free of charge and arrangements can be made for standing orders to meet recurring payments. A minimum deposit of US$1,000 (or currency equivalent) is required upon the approval and opening of the account.
Fixed Term Deposit (CD)
These are available in US dollars, Canadian Dollars, Pounds, Euros and other currencies on request. A minimum deposit of US $25,000 (or currency equivalent) is required. Highly attractive interest rates are paid free of tax in Belize on term deposits maturing between 30 and 90 days.
