The Belize Bank offers a Corporate Visa Gold Credit Card in conjunction with the establishment of an International Business Company and the opening of a US Dollar Chequing Account . These credit cards allow you to make purchases or gain access to funds from anywhere in the world. The minimum credit limit for a Belize Bank Visa Gold credit card is US$5,000 and you may apply for a credit limit of up to US$25,000. Our only requirement is that funds are held in a secured US dollar bank account in an amount equal to 150% of the credit card limit.

VISA Gold Assistance Center (VAC)
The VISA Gold Card offers an array of Emergency Travel Assistance Services for your convenience and security. The VAC is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. A toll free or direct call puts you in direct contact with the VAC. Some of the services include:

In the event that you card is lost or stolen, simply call the VAC toll free at 1-800-847-2911 when in the USA or Canada or collect at (410) 581-9754 when traveling anywhere else in the world. The VAC will immediately cancel the lost card and arrange for a new card to be delivered to you in one or two days, depending on your location.
Annual Renewal Fee - The membership fee payable to Belize Bank is US$125. Thereafter additional cards may be issued for a fee of US$25 per card. The relevant fees will be shown as a deduction on your first monthly statement and will be billed annually. These charges are subject to change at the discretion of the Bank.
Instant Cash with your Card - You can obtain cash with your Credit card from any automatic teller machine ("ATM") displaying the "Visa" or "Plus" logos. Cash can also be obtained from any bank displaying the "Visa" logo.
Free VISA Card Travel Accident Insurance
The Belize Bank VISA Card provides up to US $250,000.00 individual life coverage to you, your spouse and dependent children under the age of 23. Coverage is automatic when you purchase entire travel tickets with your VISA card. It is effective from the beginning of your air, sea or land trip until you arrive at your destination.
Free VISA Auto Rental Insurance
When you rent a car in the US or Canada with your VISA Gold Card, you can obtain Auto Rental Insurance automatically, at no extra cost. You must initiate the transaction and pay the complete cost of the auto rental with your VISA Gold Card and decline the insurance (CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) / LDW (Loss Damage Waiver)) offered by the auto company.
Making your Payments - Statements will be mailed to you on a monthly basis and you have the option of paying your entire balance within 20 days after the statement date or paying in installments. You can also have payments deducted automatically from your IBC Chequing Account.
Interest Charge - If the entire balance is paid by the due date, no interest will be charged, but if partial payments are made, an interest charge will be levied per month on the average daily balance. Our interest charges are competitive with those on international markets.
