Mr. Belize Bodybuilding Championship 2006

The "Mr. Belize Bodybuilding Champtionship 2006" contest took place at the Bliss Centre for the Performing Arts on Friday, September 25, 2006 and took its place as a part of the September Celebrations festivities.

The Belize Bank Ltd has been and still is a consistent supporter of the Belize Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation and once again was among this year’s sponsors, providing the opportunity for the Association to put off another crowd pleasing program while showcasing some of the fittest and best built bodies in Belize!

This year's contest was fiercely competitive but in the end, Dion Danderson once again made his mark in Belize’s Bodybuilding history as he defended his title and repeated as Mr. Belize Bodybuilding Champion 2006! The judges also awarded Roger Sutherland with the second place title and Michael Buckley with third.

Earlier in the evening, Buckley had captured the Junior Mr. Belize title, while Elsworth Tillett took home the second place title, Dion Banner placing third, and Robert Haulze placing fourth.

In the Masters competition, Dylan Jones captured the first place title, Joseph Obispo took second and Joseph Mclaren took home third.

In the Ms. Bodyfigure competition, Kayla Myvett took first place. Last year’s winner, Gina Lovell, won second place and Shakira Oxley won third place. The other two contestants, Avril Steadman and Jasmine Arnold took home the fourth and fifth place titles, respectively.
