Mr. Raymond Rattan is the Chief Risk Officer of The Belize Bank Limited, where he leads the Bank’s enterprise risk management program. He brings over a decade of experience in accounting, credit risk assessment, asset and liability management, and investment strategy. Prior to his current role, Mr. Rattan held key positions within the Bank, including Senior Risk and Investment Manager, where he played a critical role in developing risk management strategies, risk measurement models, enhanced reporting frameworks, comprehensive risk policies, and investment strategies. He previously worked at Aegis Business Solutions Limited and First Citizens Investment Services Limited in Trinidad & Tobago. Mr. Rattan holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of the West Indies and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He is also a graduate of the Carnegie Mellon University Chief Risk Officer certificate program.
