Michael Coye serves as the Director of Finance & Operations at Belize Bank Limited, a role he assumed in 2025 following a distinguished eleven-year tenure as the bank's Chief Financial Officer. Since joining the Belize Bank Group in 1993, Mr. Coye has been a cornerstone of the institution’s financial leadership, progressing through various pivotal roles, including Financial Controller.

His extensive experience within the group allows him to expertly bridge complex financial planning with streamlined operational management, ensuring the bank remains a leader in the regional financial sector.

Prior to his career with Belize Bank, Mr. Coye gained foundational expertise as a Senior Auditor at Price Waterhouse. He holds a Master of Accountancy from Arizona State University and an accounting degree from Rockhurst University. A highly respected figure in his field, he maintains active memberships in both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Belize (ICAB).
