Mrs. Monica Daryanani-Urbina is the Chief Banking Officer at The Belize Bank Limited, where she leads the bank’s integrated banking services and oversees core revenue areas, including corporate and commercial banking, retail banking, the credit card and merchant services business, and the customer support center. With more than a decade of experience in banking and finance, she is recognized as a results-driven executive who delivers growth, strengthens client relationships, and champions innovative financial solutions across diverse industries.

Previously, Mrs. Daryanani-Urbina served as General Manager, Business Banking Services, where she led a team of senior relationship managers, credit analysts, and business support staff. Under her leadership, the bank expanded its market presence and enhanced its ability to deliver tailored solutions to Belizean businesses. Her earlier roles in business development, credit analysis, and treasury operations provided a strong foundation in risk management, liquidity management, and financial structuring.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance and is a candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program.
