Belize Bank Renews Support for Summer Bond Camp to Empower Belizean Youth

For the third year in a row, The Belize Bank Limited partnered with the Summer Bond Camp—a week-long program for children aged 7 to 11 founded by Mrs. Carolyn Gentle-Genitty—reaffirming its commitment to community growth and youth empowerment.

During "Belize Bank Day" on July 9, bank volunteers engaged campers through two core educational pillars:

• Digital Readiness: Children learned essential digital safety skills (such as password security and scam awareness) and explored modern career paths in digital marketing, including content creation and graphic design.

• Financial Literacy: Volunteers taught age-appropriate lessons on the importance of saving and forming healthy financial habits early.
