See some of our frequently asked questions below about what you can expect with the new online banking platform.

Starting at 9:00 p.m. Friday, February 21st, customers will not be able to access our online banking, Mobile Banking App and BBmobile services until the new system is fully configured. The full migration is expected to be completed by Sunday February 23rd at 5:00 p.m. During this time, our ATM and POS services will not be affected.

After the completion of the upgrade, customers will still access their accounts via online.belizebank.com using their existing online banking account information. Answers to security questions, passwords and online PIN remains the same. If you have trouble accessing your account after the upgrade, please contact your Belize Bank branch for assistance.

All historical data will be migrated to the new platform. Users will still have access to all their accounts with the ability to show or hide the accounts that they want listed on account listing page.

All accounts and bill payment information stored as favorites will be migrated to the new platform. When making a transfer or paying a bill, view your favorites by selecting the search icon above the account information section.

With the new Online Banking platform, users automatically have access to all of their accounts. Users choose if the account will be listed in the accounts listing page without the need to make a request to the bank for your account to appear in your profile. To hide or unhide accounts, go to the “Settings” area, then select “My Accounts”. You will me prompted to confirm your PIN in order to proceed to make changes to your accounts settings. Upon PIN confirmation, you will see a listing of all accounts that are currently listed on your account listing page. To hide an account, select the “Hide” button on the right. To unhide an account, select the “Add an Account” button at the top right. A prompt will appear with all available accounts that are currently hidden. Select the desired account(s), and click confirm. The account would have been added to your listing page.

Users will experience an enhanced user interface with the ability to now securely attach documents to messages sent to the bank.
