The Belize Bank Limited confirms that an attempted robbery occurred at our Dangriga Branch early this morning, 15th December 2025. The matter is currently under investigation by the relevant authorities.
We wish to reassure our customers and the general public that no assets were compromised and all systems and operations remain fully intact.
As a precautionary measure, the branch had a delayed opening to the public until midday today. Normal operations will fully resume tomorrow.
