Ambassador Grant served as the Governor of the Central Bank of Belize from 2016 to 2021. Prior to this, she served as the Director of the Financial Intelligence Unit. She served as Ambassador to Brussels, several European countries, and the European Commission before returning to Belize to take up her appointment to the Senate and as the Minister of Energy, Science and Technology and Public Utilities.
She served in this capacity from 2012 to 2015. She was awarded the honorary title of commander of St. Michael and St. George (CMG) for service to Belize in 2020. Ambassador Grant holds a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelors of Commerce from the University of Alberta, Canada.
